Katelyn is an undergraduate at Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University majoring in biochemistry. She works under Nikki Tjahjono to develop high-throughput screening methods for developing next generation glutamate and dopamine biosensors. Katelyn also works with Yihan Jin to characterize new synaptic glutamate biosensors and understand neuron-astrocyte interactions. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, and learning random new things!
