Julie has about 20 years of multidisciplinary research experience. Her main interest is the use of imaging methods to tackle biological questions either in vivo, in situ, or in vitro. She is currently investigating the spatiotemporal dynamics of neurotransmitters using biosensors combined with modern optics in live tissues. She has completed 10 years of postdoctoral training in Canada, Germany, France, and Japan. Julie holds a PhD in Radiation Sciences and Biomedical Imaging, an M.A.Sc in Chemical Engineering, and a B.Sc in Medical Biology.
